Parent Letter Dewey Diagnostics Day We hope you and your family had a wonderful summer break and are excited about the new school year. This summer, the JDHS Instructional Support Team worked very hard to ensure our instructional practices were challenging students to achieve at their full potential. One important project the team worked on was the creation of The Dewey Diagnostic Exam (DDE). The DDE is an academic tool that will be given to all Dewey students on Tuesday, September 12, during periods 3 and 8. The Dewey Diagnostic will test your child’s Math and ELA skills. The results of the exams will be shared with your child’s teachers so that they will know your child’s strengths, weaknesses and gaps.
