Parent Discipline Code Letter September 2023

NYC Public Schools are committed to ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in all schools. We successfully foster these environments by providing professional learning for teachers and school staff on how to support students who may be experiencing challenges in or outside of the school day and by engaging families as partners in our school communities.

CATCH Opt Out Letter

In New York, minors may receive reproductive health services without parental consent. Because CATCH services are being provided in school, parents may choose not to have their child receive the services (“opt their child out”) by returning this letter to the principal.
