All About Me!
Greetings, I'm Mr. Sakib, and I'm passionate about education. With a background in Computer Science and Special Education, I've had the privilege of teaching at John Dewey High School for the past 3 years. I specialize in teaching Living Environment and Earth Science, subjects that never cease to amaze me with their wonder and complexity.
In addition to my classroom responsibilities, I also serve as the advisor for the Journalism Club, where I encourage students to explore the world of storytelling, journalism, and creativity. I firmly believe that every student is unique, with individual needs and potentials waiting to be unlocked. My goal as a teacher is to work closely with each student to understand and nurture their talents and capabilities.

You can usually find me in room #348 during 7th period, and I'm always open to any questions or discussions you might have. Beyond the classroom, I have a diverse set of interests. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies to unwind, working on my car to keep my mechanical skills sharp, and playing video games to stay in touch with the digital world that fascinates many of our students.
