Hi!  I am Alexander Harty.  I teach math at John Dewey High School.  This year, I am teaching Geometry and Algebra 2.  This is my 7th year teaching at Dewey, and my 19th year teaching in the NYCDOE.

 

I have bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy, and a Masters Degree in teaching high school mathematics.

 

My goal is to ensure that all my students feel safe, seen, heard, and recognized.  I also aim to elevate every students understanding of mathematics.
