About Me

As an educator, I am deeply committed to nurturing the potential of every student I encounter. With a decade of teaching experience, my journey in education has been both enriching and inspiring. My mission is to empower young minds, instill a love for learning, and pave the way for their bright futures.

Teaching Experience

I have been an integral part of the John Dewey family, and my primary role is that of a high school special education teacher. I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive academically and personally. By providing tailored support and guidance, I strive to create an inclusive and accommodating learning environment where every student can reach their full potential.

Coaching Excellence

Outside of the classroom, I wear many hats, all of which revolve around mentorship and personal growth. I am not only an educator but also a coach. For the past few years, I have had the privilege of leading our varsity volleyball and softball teams. In these roles, I teach our student-athletes important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, all while helping them excel on the field and court.

Academic Support

I am not content with solely being a teacher and coach; I am also a dedicated tutor. I offer additional academic support to students who may need it, ensuring that every student has access to the resources and guidance necessary to succeed in their studies.

Leadership Experience

Prior to my current role, I served as a dean at John Dewey for four years. During this time, I gained valuable insights into the administrative side of education. I understand the importance of discipline, structure, and communication in creating a safe and productive learning environment.

I believe that it is my privilege and responsibility to help shape the lives of our students. By fostering a sense of community, encouraging personal growth, and providing unwavering support, I am dedicated to helping every student achieve their goals.
