Archon National Honor Society

The Archon National Honor Society is an organization that strives to better our society through community service.

  • Students will be invited into the JDHS Archon National Honor Society in June of their Freshman Year.
  • Students need a Minimum of 50 Community Service Hours (in or out of the school building). These hours need to be handed in to a guidance counselor on a special form that can be found on our JDHS website: johndeweyhighschool.org
  • Students must be in and maintain a good academic standing (80% average or above) and without a disciplinary record.
  • Students will be invited to be a part of a prestigious award ceremony in the spring semester of their senior year if:
 
  • 150 or more Community Service Hours are acquired.
  • 25 of the 150 hours must be completed at John Dewey High School throughout your tenure.
