Just a friendly reminder of Brooklyn South High Schools Event coming up!
Over 100,000 children in the United States are at risk for human trafficking every year. New York has the 4th highest number of reported cases of trafficking in the country. To attempt to eradicate this criminal enterprise, education can play a key role in stopping predators. It is imperative that students, educators, and parents are armed with the ability to recognize a child who may be at risk for exploitation.
The Office of Superintendent Michael Prayor, for Brooklyn South High Schools, invites you to join us for this informative session, where you will be provided with information concerning the dangers human trafficking poses to students, adverse experiences that put students at risk for trafficking, coercion techniques employed by predators, warning signs and red flags.
